There are 17 categories of providers that are required to adhere to the new EPP regulations, and they are: Target Audience: The final rule applies to 17 categories of providers and suppliers:

Will our current Emergency Preparedness Plan be Adequate to pass survey?
There are 4 main elements your company must pass. These elements must focus on the continuation of operations before during, and after a disaster, all phases must be included.
How can I create an Emergency Preparedness Plan that surveyors will approve?
More Information will be available this spring after the federal and state surveyors are trained. You can receive training from any state, city, or business providing EPP training sessions. You can also purchase the Emergency Preparedness Manual on the Optimal Healthcare Solution website. You can also receive some training when you attend the Home Health Administrator, Manager or Owner CEU class on Emergency Preparedness and receive CEUs.
