Are You Ready For 2025?

Are You Ready for 2025?

There are two and a half months left in 2024, can you believe it?  As you think about the year ending which one of the following can you identify with:

  1. You never plan for the future
  2. You don’t plan for the growth of your agency, you just let things happen.
  3. I plan but don’t stick to the plan
  4. I plan for the success and prosperity of my agency

If you answered the questions 1-3, then maybe after reading this post, you’ll be #4. There are so many things to consider when planning for the future. Planning for the growth of your agency is so important if you want to see your bank account flourish and your agency to be around for years to come. Benjamin Franklin said, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” This is so true.

As a home health& home care consultant, I talked to people who think that success just happens. All they have to do is start their agency and Voilà, money will just start flowing in and they are rich, rich, rich. Well, business doesn’t work like that! There’s is a very small amount of people who are that lucky. Very small. The rest of us have to plan for success, growth of a business, and prosperity. OK, so, how do I plan for success?

The first step I would take is to schedule a planning retreat so you can think clearly and establish your plans. Start now looking for a place where you can be inspired. If you can get away from home, the kids, hubby, cat, and dog. Check into a nice quiet hotel room over the weekend with one or a few key staff members. If you can’t afford a hotel room, or you have little ones who will be needing you, then the next best thing is to spend the day or half a day at the library, museum, or bookstore just go anywhere where you can work in peace without being interrupted. Spend your day planning with a huge post-note chart and jot down ideas as they come to your mind. No matter how dumb, silly, or great they are, write them down.

Next, Write out what your goal(s) are. Then the plan. How are you going to accomplish this plan?

 For example:

Goal: I am now making 2Million dollars in revenue from my agency in 2025 easily and effortlessly.

Plan: I now have 75 new Medicaid clients, 20 Private Pay Clients, and 5 VA clients.

What marketing strategies will you use to gain these needed clients?

  1. Word of Mouth is the first form of Effective marketing for you to use. Have all your staff brag about working for you, if you have a great office culture, and have your clients brag about their experience with your agency. Dissatisfied staff and clients will not help you grow.
  2. Create an awesome website to let people know you are serious about your agency, and potential private pay clients can find you.
  3. Be on social media. Show how you interact with your staff and clients.
  4. Attend Live in-person networking events.

The above are just a few ideas. I’m sure you can get creative and come up with more. Remember, you need to be persistent and consistent with marketing.

  1. Last, end your retreat by playing some upbeat music. Dance your heart out. Feel the energy of success and implement your new marketing plan filled with those new ideas you wrote about.

Good Luck, and Much Success in 2025!
